Award winning Director of Photography Mark Woods developed the "L.A.D. System of Testing" to determine optimum film density and the resulting printer lights for L.A.D. prints. Although he keeps busy filming, he still finds time to regularly contribute technical articles to "International Photographer" magazine (now "International Cinematographer" magazine). He has made presentations with The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, SMPTE, Bob Primes, ASC, with the American Society of Cinematographers. He has lectured at California State University at Northridge, American Film Institute, UCLA Extension, and The International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine. Two of his more visible projects now on air are the Emmy Nominated opening for Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect" and the David E. Kelley producer's I.D. (the one with his grandmother being knocked over with his name popping out of the TV screen while she says, "You stinker!"). |
